Exciting Changes in Procedures for Notification!

As I have written, both in a post three years ago and in my recent email letting folks know that I was about to restart this blog, I initially thought that registration as "Members" of this blog would earn such Members automatic notification of new posts. That proved not to be the case three years ago, and when I tried to figure out this year what really needed to happen, I couldn't figure it out.

Yesterday, however, when I put up my first post, I discovered with a small thrill that the automatic notifications are indeed happening, and while the sample of those who I know for a fact to be experiencing those notifications is small (two: Steve and myself), I believe I can say with some confidence that all those who are currently Members must also be getting the notifications, and any readers who have not yet become Members but would appreciate being notified of new posts should sign up and get email notifications without further action on anybody's part.

(P.S. I do not believe that passwords of any kind are required here, so don't worry about those.)
