Another Spring, Another Trip

Once again Steve and I are preparing for another off-season visit to a place where we can exercise our brains by working on a foreign language--this time it's to Italy and Italian again. It's two years since our last visit to Italy and I miss it! We don't actually leave yet--we've got nearly three weeks to go, but there's a long checklist of things to do, to acquire, to pack, to arrange before we leave home for a month. Over the years of focussing on this style of travel--this is the tenth year--we have developed some quite good checklists!

One of the elements that is different this year is that I have had to relocate, and thus also redo, my website and my blog. I am working my way up the learning curve of a system that is probably quite a lot simpler than what I have been using, but it's very different, and therefore presents challenges. This initial effort is just to see what it's like. No pictures to accompany it, therefore, and I'll find out in a minute what it looks like when posted, with no picture!
